Last night was the 2018 Tekne Awards! The gala event honored the state’s top organizations and individuals contributing to Minnesota’s science and technology economy.
Two Tekne winners and nine finalists were SciTech companies and partners. SciTech is proud to support these innovators and the amazing internship opportunities and industry exposure they provide for our interns.
And the Tekne Goes to:
Winner of the Health IT Award: Carrot Health
Carrot Health is a Minnesota-based, growth-stage software company. They use consumer data to provide insights that allow health interventions at the source –before they result in a clinical crisis. Carrot Health’s software-as-a-service product, Carrot MarketView, gives health insurance payers and health care systems a better way to use social determinants of health to improve population health outcomes, growth and market share.
Winner of the STEM Workforce Award: Minnesota State University, Mankato
Minnesota State University, Mankato has developed a uniquely effective approach to developing professionals in the STEM disciplines through an innovative, vertically-integrated engineering curriculum designed to support the growing demand for engineering professionals with industry sponsored experience.
