May this blog post find you in good health and good company! Most of us here at SciTech and MHTA are at home with our friends and family, staying warm and readying for the holidays.
With a new decade fast approaching, there’s much to look back on and celebrate. Of all the things we’re grateful for, here are some of our top joys and successes from the past year:
- Seeing 392 interns placed in 2019
- Securing a new round of funding for the 2020-2021 program year
- Cheering on our former Student Outreach Coordinator Maria Rico as she pursues her field of study in a new chemistry career
- Welcoming our new Student Outreach Coordinator Molly Mitchell and all the talent that she brings
The weather may be cold, the days may be short and the daily news may be less than cheerful. But just as every winter comes with the promise of spring, every new year carries with it the excitement of tomorrow. 2020 will be a year of change, progress and teamwork, and we can all help it along by doing small acts of good and kindness to the people around us.
So as we take another step toward the future, we wish you and yours a wonderful holiday and look forward to all that we’ll accomplish together in the year to come.
