Last June, SciTech participated in Make It. MSP’s kickoff for summer interns at U.S Bank Stadium. This week we’re back again, this time at the RiverCentre in St. Paul.
Discover MSP 2019 aims to help both homegrown students and out-of-state interns connect with one another while learning more about the exciting things to do and see here in the Twin Cities.
Make It. MSP is expecting roughly 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students to attend. These interns have come from across the country to work with some of Minnesota’s top organizations; companies like Best Buy, General Mills, Target, Medtronic and hundreds of small companies in the SciTech program.

The goals of this year’s event are to:
- Create spaces where interns are able to interact and forge meaningful connections
- Establish a foundation for ongoing communication and connection amongst interns
- Showcase the various assets of the MSP region
- And engage interns with the MSP professional, civic and cultural community
As always, SciTech is dedicated to supporting Minnesota’s STEM workforce by providing some of the best internship experiences our state has to offer. With events like these, showing off Minnesota’s charm is almost too easy.
